Why did you move from law to PR?

I moved from law to PR because, while I enjoyed aspects of law like researching cases and drafting posts and stories, I ultimately wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to tap more into my creative side. I found myself more passionate about storytelling and communicating ideas, and PR offered the perfect opportunity to blend strategy with creativity. The shift wasn’t easy, but it’s been a rewarding journey that’s allowed me to grow so much!

What excites you most about your new role?

I’m excited to build on the knowledge I’ve gained from my previous experiences in B2B tech, particularly in the PR space. But what really gets me buzzing is the opportunity to dive into new areas and broaden my skill set. I’m also looking forward to stepping outside of traditional PR boundaries and taking on a more integrated approach to communications. There’s so much to learn and I can’t wait to get involved in it all!

What’s on your bucket list?

I’d love to visit every single Caribbean island. I’ve already checked off the Dominican Republic, and I can’t wait to explore the rest! The Caribbean is where I find peace and happiness as it’s the ultimate escape and a place that always feels like home away from home.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I unwind by indulging in a bit of gaming, everything from classic Halo to the addictive world of Clash of Clans. For me, it’s the perfect way to disconnect from the world and have some fun. When I’m in need of self-care, I’ll pamper myself with a good skincare routine and some downtime to recharge. It’s all about balance and giving space to reset.
