GET TO KNOW: EMMA

Communications Growth Lead

What excites you most about your new role?

I’m looking forward to diving into new and exciting tech clients, applying my 8 years of PR experience to create impactful strategies. Working with innovative client partners to tell their unique stories is something I truly enjoy. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and helping grow their businesses in new and exciting ways!

What book would you recommend everyone reads?

I’d recommend ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’ by Victor E Frankl. It’s a short book (154 pages) about the experiences and emotions felt by Victor during his time spent in Auschwitz. My takeaway is that if Victor could cope mentally with that reality, you can do anything you put your mind to.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I love reading and like to escape reality with a fantasy book. There’s nothing better than imagining yourself as a magical Fae creature (IYKYK) living in an incredible world, compared to a flat in Brixton! Following a charity white collar fight in 2023, I’ve acquired a love for boxing. I go to a boxing gym in Camberwell and love the peace and focus it gives me.

What’s your go-to series to unwind?

Friends and The US Office take a joint first spot with Schitt’s Creek close behind. I also love crime documentaries but opt for the comedy route if it’s been a long day!
